Day Twenty Four

I am so close to finishing the novel! I have, so far typed 43000 words, yay me! And, that is while being out of town for the second and third weekend of the month. I am ready for a nap!

I have started writing at work, while on lunch breaks and such, trying to get the most out of the time I have left. I really, really wanted to be finished by Thanksgiving. Maybe if I don't sleep tonight or tomorrow night I can be done by midnight. Who knows.

This novel was a lot more fun to write than the one last year. I don't know, maybe because it was the first time i have written something completely fantasy based, maybe the husband will read this one!

Went to the doctor yesterday morning and she was asking all the questions she has to and i answer them all almost the same as last year. In the end she says, so you are the same person you were last year. Well, that got me thinking over the past year and everything that is different now. And, i am not the same person i was last year, which i guess we are supposed to grow and be better people, but after surviving all that my family has, i am differently not the same person as I was last year.

So, there that is. I am ready to finish Summerland and go back to Virginia again for Thanksgiving. Because my mom is going to spend the holiday with her new boyfriend, we are only seeing the husband's side of the family this year. And I'm ready to eat myself full on pumpkin pie and mashed potatoes :)
