I know where my story is going. I know exactly where the story is headed, but I have yet to choose a title or really yet expose everything and develop my two young characters. I feel like I need to go back and reread Charlotte's Web or Old Yeller to get in the minds of what others think seven year olds act like. More so what they think. Anyway, I am still chugging along with the word count. Got a new Nano "buddy" too. She is someone who is probably a better writer than me at this total fantasy and fiction thing, but I'm hoping that we inspire each other to keep up with the word count. There is nothing like knowing someone else out there has more words than you. Even better than you know them; know them and not just someone you happen to be following their blogs. Knowing someone else gets bragging rights, and I'm pretty competitive!
Also I have been successful at keeping up with the normal house stuff (right now I am doing laundry) and keeping up with my workout plan (my small goal was to lost 5 pounds by Thanksgiving and to keep it off during the holidays). Also, overheard today at work that a layoff may be in the future, again. Total yikes moment today, but I am keeping my head up and chugging along. What will be, will be.
