Day Four

I woke up this morning to find that the husband had broken rule number one. It is a very important rule. This rule keeps the warhammer models out of the bedroom. They take over every room of the house. Currently, there are warhammer models in the living area, the "dinning area" aka "dog/man room", they are in the kitchen (they watch me cook, its creepy) in his office, in my office and in the home gym. They occasionally place themselves in the bathroom on the first floor as well. Rule number one is to keep all unnecessary clutter out of the bedroom (warhammer models is number one on the list of things to stay out). Luckily, for the model and for Jeff, the model was removed by the time I got home.

If you do not know what warhammer is, the easiest was to describe it, from a wife's point of view, is it's kind of like a role playing game with miniatures that cause such big ideas to form in my husband's head that we make weekly trips to Loews Hardware store to purchase more supplies to build bigger models.

Anyway, it has come to this point with the novel. I am about to enter the beginning of the point of the whole story and I waste my time by checking email, blogging, facebooking and buying baby gifts for the shower next weekend (ok, that last one was important because we are going to a baby shower and babies and their parents need gifts). However, by the time I read my email, I am just leaving the unimportant stuff (like discounts from department stores and the recipe of the day) in the in box until the end of the month because I feel guilty for not writing. I can organize that mess on December first.

I miss date night. Tonight was date night and what did we do? After work I arrived home and squeezed in a workout then went out to dinner where most of the dinner conversation was about our novels and then we came home to write in separate areas of the house so as to not distract each other.
