It's here again!

The air is cooler. The leaves are changing colors and falling from the trees. Halloween has come and gone. Yup. It's November! And that means only 50 some days until Christmas, 20 some days until Thanksgiving and NaNoWriMo!!!!

I was not going to do it this year. I kept saying after last year's fiasco that 2010 was the last year. So I bought my NaNoWirMo sweat shirt, put the Nano sticker on my car, hung up the novel writing sweat shirt and didn't even bother to print last year's novel. I honesty haven't looked at it during the past 11 months. But, the husband said he had talked a few of his Raleigh friends into doing it this year, so I said, ok, I'll do it.

The topic? One I have been wanting to write for years. I figured I have to just do it now, or will never get on paper (in a computer file, what ever).

So, after an awesome weekend spent with my mom, aunt, best friend, niece, brother, brother's girlfriend, mom's best friend, Michael, and the two of the other people who have inspired the novel, and I'm sure the third one was there in spirit, I feel ready. Not to mention it's awesome that I got the first day of November off from work!!!!!

Here I go, the month long journey to 50000 words. A party at the end. A massage too, I hope. My writing shirt is on, the candle lit, a photograph of my inspiration, and the chocolate, well, the chocolate is gone, but i can get more. On we go!!!
