Day 11

Happy 11/11/11 everyone!

We were supposed to go to a party tonight, but our lovely host is sick, so I took advantage of a much needed day off from work and got things done. Having the whole day to write, and the only thing that I HAD to do today was go buy the new Harry Potter movie, i took my time getting to the computer.

I did four loads of laundry, vacuumed and mopped the first floor, gave the dog an emergency bath (we stepped in poo, not pretty) made dinner, baked cookies, watched some NetFlix, emailed my mom, talked to mom and grandfather, separated and re potted my African violets, and went shopping. Then I got to writing.

I decided yesterday i didn't know how i was going to keep up my story for another 30000 words. So, I have kept my characters, and changed the scenery. I'll figure out how to get them from A to B eventually, but not now.

The cookies were a treat for once I got to 20000 words. I think I said when I get to 30000 i get a glass of wine, but it could have been 25000 I can't remember now.

I hope this new transition works. I woke up at 3 am this morning worrying about where my characters were going to go for the next 30000 words except going around in circles and bumping into each other over and over again. (which could be funny, just don't want to write it like that).
